The Role
Due to rapid growth and success of the VDR division, weare looking fora talented and motivatedQA Leadwith previous experience of testing web based and .Net applications in our growing Chennai based software development house.
Requirements/Responsibilities
- At least 5+yearsexperience in a previous software testing position.
- Lead and mentor the QA team, as well as manage outside contract testers.
- Establish and evolve formal QA Process, ensuring the team is using industry accepted best practices.
- Oversee all aspects of QAteamincluding establishing productivity metrics,carrying out daily scrum meetings,assigning tasks & ensuring deadlines are met.
- Developteststrategy, scenarios, testcases, scripts, plans and procedures (both manual and automated)based on detailed changespecifications andrequirements and execute test cases.
- Experience inautomation, load testing & performance testing.
- Raising and tracking detailed problem reports and provide repeatable step-by-step instructions to project team members describing issues found during testing.
- Act as a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally & externally.
· As aQA Leadyou will show a strong understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle.,analyzingsystem requirements, developing test cases, and performing manual and automated application testing
- Manage the working relationship between the QA team, the development team, the QA environment team and the business partners.
- You should also enjoy working within aclose knitteam and have a proven ability to work on projects with tight deadlines and ensure quality work is delivered. Can accept and act upon constructivecriticism/feedback.
- ExcellentEnglishcommunication skills,both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail; must be able to meticulously analyse documentation and applications to ensure quality.
- Ability to be proactive, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines with flexibility and changing priorities.
